The petitioner, who is the father of detenue, viz., K.Anushka Karkuzhali aged about 15 years, seeks her production before this Court and hand over her custody to him.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Additional Pubic Prosecutor has submitted that after registration of the FIR in Crime No.99 of 2022, the detenue has been secured on 21.06.2022 and handed over to her parents. He has further submitted that the girl has been subjected to medical examination and after receipt of the report, in case of any issue involving one Pandiyan, who is alleged to have taken the minor girl, then the case would be altered under the relevant provisions of the POCSO Act.
3. In view of the above submission and taking note of the fact that the girl has been secured and her custody has been handed over to her parents, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. No costs.
