Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a direction in the nature of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records connected in Na.Ka.No.0213/2019/A5 (Development), dated 04.03.2019 of the third respondent and quash the same and consequently direct respondents 1 to 3 to promote the petitioner as Assistant on par with junior Mr.M.Sivasubramanian w.e.f. 12.12.2012 with all consequential benefits and pass such further orders. Learnd Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has produced a copy of the letter sent by the petitioner dated 11.11.2024 to the District Collector, Thiruvarur, stating that she has been promoted as Deputy Block Development Officer with effect from 08.12.2023 and continuing the same post as on date, who will be superannuated on 31.05.2026. Hence, she is withdrawing the present writ petition filed before this Court in W.P.No.13423 of 2020.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also sought permission of this Court to withdraw the above writ petition and has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle. 2/4
In view of the letter coupled with the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
