Apprehending interference at the hands of the respondents, the petitioner, who carries on business in the name of "SERENITY DA SPA" at RNJ Lalithdri" No.30/47, Venkatakrishna Iyer Road, Raja Annamalai Puram, Chennai - 600 028, has come forward with the present writ petition.

When the matter is taken up, learned Special Government Pleader produced instructions from the 2nd respondent stating that till date, there was no interference by the respondents in the conduct of business of the petitioner. However, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that in the event of the petitioner indulging in illegal activities, action will be taken as per law.

Considering the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents not to interfere with the petitioner's conduct of business so long as the petitioner carries on lawful/legal activities. However, in the event of the petitioner indulging in illegal or unlawful activities, it is well open to the respondents to take action in accordance with law. It is made clear that in such an event, this order will not stand in the way of the respondents from taking action against the petitioner. No costs. Connected M.P. is closed.
