The present criminal original petition has been filed to call for the records and quash the proceedings initiated against her in Crime No.177 of 2014.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and perused the materials available on record.

3. A perusal of the records would reveal that a case has been registered in Crime No.177 of 2014 for alleged offences punishable under Sections 420, and 506(i) of IPC based on the complaint given by one Seethalakshmi.

4.In my considered opinion the scope of quashing the FIR is very narrow, since the case is still under investigation and pre-mature in nature. Hence this petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court after filing the final report. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
