PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the 2nd respondent Police to conduct further investigation in Crime No.204/2021 and include all the offences committed by the accused as stated in the complaint dated 28.04.2021 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.07.2021.

ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent Police to conduct further investigation in Crime No.204/2021 and include all the offences committed by the accused as stated in the complaint dated 28.04.2021 and also by considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.07.2021. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that based on the complaint of the petitioner, a case in Crime No.204 of 2021 was registered on 28.04.2021 for offence under Sections 294(b), 324, 354 and 506(ii) IPC. Thereafter, the petitioner is not aware about the progress of the investigation. The petitioner's apprehension is that the accused Manikandan is planning to go abroad and he would not be available. Hence, he prays for direction to complete the investigation. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the investigation would be completed within a period of three months. He further submitted that the apprehension of the petitioner is unfounded. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, travel restrictions are imposed and no flights are available to travel abroad and the persons who are seeking fresh employment, abroad are not given visa. Hence, he prayed for dismissal of the petition. 4.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
