ORDER
This writ petitioner has been filed seeking to direct the respondents 1, 2 and 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2020, whereby the
petitioner has sought to provide the ownership details regarding the land in Survey Nos. 156-1, 228-4, 320-1A, 365, 185, 189, 252, 362-3, 368-16 at Porur Village, Chennai 600 116; to cancel the patta issued in favour of the Arulmigu Ramanatheeswarar Temple Porur, the 8th respondent herein, and to stay the 7th respondent Department from collecting rent from the persons residing in the aforesaid land.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. However, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 3.Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the 4th respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.09.2020, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and any other parties concerned. Such exercise shall be carried out by the 4th respondent within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
