The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the TANGEDCO submitted that there was some negotiation between the parties and it was finally Page No.:2/4

agreed that an amount of Rs.2,23,76,295/- after deducting TDS of Rs.22,399/- will be paid as full and final settlement of LPSC from 2017 to 27.01.2022. This amount was arrived at after the petitioner agreed for waiving 50% on the interest amount payable by the TANGEDCO.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner also acknowledged the above facts and submitted that the agreed amount has also been paid by the TANGEDCO to the petitioner.

3. Compliance is recorded and this Contempt petition is closed. Consequently, the connected sub-application is also closed.
