ORDER

Mr. Era Premnath, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of his representation dated 03.02.2017 and issue a certified copy of the Extract from the Town Survey Planning Register issued by the respondent in the year 1980.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 03.02.2017, the respondent has not passed any order so far.

4. Mr.Era Premnath, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to dispose of the petitioner' s representation in accordance with law.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.02.2017 for the issuance of a certified copy of the Extract from the Town Survey Planning Register issued in the year 1980, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
