ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents herein for wilful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 26.04.2022 in Crl.O.P.No.17684 of 2021.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the first respondent and the learned counsel for the second respondent.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that in pursuance of the order of this Court dated 26.04.2022, an enquiry has been initiated by the first respondent / contemnor and the copy of the result of the enquiry has also been served upon the petitioner; a detailed status report has also been filed which would show that the order of this Court has been complied in letter and spirit.

4. In view of the above submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), I feel that there is no need to keep this petition pending and hence, this Contempt Petition is closed. 20.02.2023 Index: Yes/No Internet: Yes/No gsk
