The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the second and third respondents to consider his applications dated 20.12.2017 and 02.04.2018 and dispose of the same on merits in accordance with law, wherein and whereby, he sought for sub-division of the lands comprised in S.F.No.16/4B, Koondalur Village and Post, Kallakurichi Taluk, Villupuram District measuring an extent of 0/8.00 hectares and granting separate Patta.

3. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said applications have not been considered by the respondents so far.

4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the third respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the third respondent to consider the applications dated 20.12.2017 and 02.04.2018 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned. Such exercise shall be done by the third respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
