Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS to call for the records relating to the detention order in TPDA No. B3/D.O.No.22/2022 dated 05.05.2022 passed by the 2nd respondent under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the petitioner`s son Rajesh S/o. Krishnamoorthi aged about 33 years the detenue now confined in Central Prison, Salem before this Court and set the petitioners son Rajesh S/o. [Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in B3/D.O.No.22/2022 dated 05.05.2022 detaining her son as "Drug Offender" under Section 2(e) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.3785, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) department, dated 24.06.2022 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order.
