This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to grant permission and police protection for conducting cock fight during the Koozhvaarathal Thiruvizha of the Thanjai Amman Temple from 02.05.2025 to 04.05.2025 at Ettivaadi Village, Polur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District based on petitioner's representation dated 04.04.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 04.04.2025 submitted by the petitioner seeking permission to conduct cock fight during the Koozhvaarathal thiruvizha of the Thanjai Amman Temple from 02.05.2025 to 04.05.2025 at Ettivadi Village, Polur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and

conduct enquiry, and pass orders within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
