ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to modify the condition imposed in Crl.R.C.No.1155 of 2024 and the same was granted on 05.07.2024 with conditions "the petitioner is order to be released on bail on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two blood sureties for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Principal Special Judge, Special Court for EC & NDPS Act, Chennai.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the this Court, while granting bail to the petitioner, imposed the condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two blood sureties for a like sum. Now, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is not in a position to secure the blood relatives as surety. Hence, he sought for suitable modification of the above said condition.

Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the condition imposed on the petitioner by this Court in Crl.R.C.No.1155 of 2024 vide order dated 05.07.2024 is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties (out of which, one shall be a blood surety) each for a like sum.
