ORDER

The petitioner worked as Selection Grade Lecturer in the third respondent college and on attaining the age of superannuation, retired on 30.09.2010. Since a disciplinary proceedings was pending, he was not given the retirement benefits. Subsequently, the Government have passed an order in G.O.Ms.No.261, Higher Education (F1) Department, dated 22.11.2011, imposing a punishment of pension cut of Rs.500/- per month for a period of three years. grievance of the petitioner that even thereafter, he was not paid the retirement benefits. The petitioner is therefore before this Court.

2. The second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation, dated 29.1.2014, submitted by the petitioner, on merits and as per law and in the light of the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.261, Higher Education (F1) Department, dated 22.11.2011. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
