Respondent Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondent authority to give permission to conduct the cultural program at Arulmighu Sri Nagammal Koil Thiruvizha, Aruppukodu, Thiruvalluvar Street, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District, on 12.06.2016, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 14.05.2016.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner states that he is the head of the Organizing Committee of the Temple festival of Arulmighu Sri Nagammal Koil Thiruvizha, Aruppukodu, Thiruvalluvar Street, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District. He submitted a representation / application, dated 14.05.2016, to the respondent, seeking permission to conduct a cultural program on 12.06.2016, in connection with the temple festival, which includes song and dance programme and since, he has not been favoured with any kind of response, came forward to file this writ petition.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that in the event of permission being granted to conduct the song and dance programme, there will not be any law, order or communal problem and no vulgarity or obscenity will be there and hence, prays for appropriate orders. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. This Court heard the submissions of Mr.S.Pattabiraman, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice for the respondent.
5. Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the application / representation, directs the respondent to consider the application / representation, dated 14.05.2016, in accordance with law and pass orders on or before 11.06.2016 and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner forthwith.
