The letter written on behalf of the Additional Chief Secretary to Government directing the Commissioner of Municipalities to implement the orders passed by this Court in W.M.P.Nos.17403 and 32025 of 2019 in W.P.No.17989 of 2019 and report on its compliance on or before 02.08.2021 has been placed before this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioners. This Court perused the said letter and finds that the first respondent has given a positive direction to implement the orders passed by this Court in W.M.P.Nos.17403 and 32025 of 2019 in W.P.No.17989 of 2019. In such view of the matter, nothing survives for further consideration 2/3

in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed. However, liberty is given to the contemnor to review the contempt petition, if the direction issued by the first respondent is not implemented.
