O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 12.08.2020 and to conduct a survey in the subject property and fix the boundaries.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he is the owner of the subject property by virtue of a registered sale deed dated 9.4.1982. The further case of the petitioner is that he has also constructed a house in the subject property. The petitioner submitted an application to respondent on 12.8.2020 requesting the respondent to survey the property and fix the boundaries. Since the same was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Heard Mr. K.Selvaraj, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Arul Doss, learned Govt. Advocate appearing for the respondent.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 12.8.2020 and deal with the same strictly in accordance with law and take immediate steps to survey the property within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the respondent along with all relevant documents and a copy of this order.

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
