PRAYER : Application filed under Order XIV Rule 8 of Original Side Rules r/w Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 to extend the time by two months to complete the arbitration proceedings. For Applicants :

The present application had been taken out by the applicant herein to seek extension of mandate for a further period of two (2) months.

2. Considering the averments made in the affidavit and being satisfied with the reasons stated therein, and having regard to the stage on which the arbitral proceedings are at, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate for a further period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The learned Arbitrator is requested to complete the proceedings and pass an Award within the said period of two (2) months and the respective parties are also directed to co-operate with the learned Arbitrator.
