..Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the first respondent relating to notification of provisional list of candidates selected for Oral Test on 28.03.2012 and quash the same and direct the respondent to consider the marks of the petitioner obtained in the written examination held on 20.06.2010 for Oral Test.

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the first respondent relating to notification of provisional list of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

candidates selected for Oral Test on 28.03.2012 and quash the same and direct the respondent to consider the marks of the petitioner obtained in the written examination held on 20.06.2010 for Oral Test.

2.Today when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that in the notification it was mentioned as "consistently good academic record", which according to them would mean that the candidate should have secured I class [60% and above] or Good, II class [B+ or 55% and above] from Higher Secondary to Post Graduate Course" whereas the petitioner has secured lesser marks in UG [B.Sc.,] Degree and BLIS are 52.7% and 51.11% respectively and hence, his application was rightly rejected by the respondents.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
