Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, to pass a suitable order of direction, directing the Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Thiruthuraipoondi, Thiruvarur District to expedite the trial in STC.No.24 of 2021 and conclude the proceedings within a reasonable and stipulated time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Thiruthuraipoondi, Thiruvarur District to expedite the trial in STC.No.24 of 2021 and conclude the proceedings

within a reasonable and stipulated timeframe as may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The petitioner had filed a complaint as against the respondents before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Thiruthuraipoondi, Thiruvarur District in STC.No.24 of 2021. Since the same has not been considered by the said Court, the petitioner filed this present petition.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Thiruthuraipoondi, Thiruvarur District, is directed to complete the Trial in STC.No.24 of 2021, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
