This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner/accused to enlarge him on bail in the event of his arrest by the respondent police in Crime No. not known of 2024, on the file of the respondent police.
2. When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) that, enquiry is pending against the petitioner in CSR.No.237 of 2024.
3. In view of the above submissions, the respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, no coercive steps shall be taken.
The petitioner is also directed to cooperate with the enquiry. The petition seeking anticipatory bail would not arise.
4. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to file fresh petition, if need arises.
