This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner by order dated 30.07.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.20504 of 2025, directing him to deposit a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- to the credit of Crime No.121 of 2025. 1 / 4

2. The petitioner was granted bail in Crl.M.P.No.5219 of 2025 on 19.06.2025, wherein the Trial Court imposed a condition directing him to deposit a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- to the credit of Crime No.121 of 2025 before the learned XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai. Since the petitioner was unable to mobilise the said amount, he filed a petition for modification in Crl.O.P.No.20504 of 2025, and this Court, by order dated 30.07.2025, modified the condition by reducing the amount to Rs.5,00,000/-. However, the petitioner has not complied with the said condition due to financial constraints. It is further submitted that the investigation has been completed and a final report has been filed, and the case is now pending in C.C.No.1511 of 2025 on the file of the learned XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet.

Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, particularly the period of incarceration undergone by the petitioner since 26.04.2025, and the fact that the investigation has been completed, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner by order dated 30.07.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.20504 of 2025, by deleting the condition requiring deposit of Rs.5,00,000/- to the credit of Crime No.121 of 2025. The other conditions shall remain unaltered.
