O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent police to give affordable police protection to the petitioner's life and the property, based on the complaint dated 01.07.2016 sent by the petitioner and proceed with the investigation.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the land measuring an extent of 2.86 acres belongs to his brother L.N.Ganesan; that when his brother L.N.Ganesan fenced his property, some third parties viz., Kuzhandaivelu, Jayamoorthy, Nesappan, Sugu and Ezhil came with 30 rowdy elements and damaged the fence. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present petition seeking police protection.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the petitioner gave a complaint against the aforesaid persons before the Kottakuppam Police Station. The said complaint was forwarded to the Anti Land Grabbing Cell and the same was closed on 30.01.2016.

4. In such view of the matter, this petition is closed. It is open to the petitioner to approach the Civil Court for appropriate remedy.
