Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.A.Kumar, learned Special Government Pleader (Education) takes notice for 3rd respondent.

By consent, the main Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the second respondent to take action on his representation dated 06.07.2017 requesting to include his name in the convocation list to be held on 22.07.2017.

3. Heard both sides.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though he was already qualified and has completed the Bachelor's of Law Degree in November 2014, his name is not included in the list of convocation to be held on 22nd July, 2017. Ventilating such grievance, the petitioner has made a representation on 06.07.2017. Therefore, it is for the respondents, more particularly, the first respondent to consider the same and take appropriate action based on such representation.

5. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents, based on instructions, submitted that the first respondent will consider the said representation and pass appropriate orders within the time stipulated by this Court.

6.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of only with a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.07.2017 and pass orders on the same on or before 17.07.2017, since the convocation is to be held on 22.07.2017. No costs.
