ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register the case on the basis of complaint dated 30.3.2015 in CSR No.442 of 2015.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has lodged a complaint with the respondent police as against one Dhandapani and two others on the allegation of cheating. Though the said complaint was given on 30.3.2015, till date, no action was taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present petition.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry was conducted by the respondent police and it was found that there was a money dispute between the parties and hence, the respondent police advised the parties to approach the civil https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Court and closed the complaint. He has also produced a xerox copy of the closure report.

4. Since, the complaint lodged by the petitioner has already been closed, nothing survives in this petition. Hence, the present criminal original petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in a manner known to law, if he is so advised.
