ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been preferred seeking a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Cr. No.2519 of 2015 and file a final report. The petitioner's husband died in a lift mishap, pursuant to which, a case in Cr. No.2519 of 2015 was registered under Section 174 Cr.P.C. and the investigation was taken up by the respondent police. Under such circumstances, the petitioner has filed the present petition seeking the aforesaid relief.

Today, Ms. K. Prithika Yoshini, Sub Inspector of Police, F-5 Choolaimedu Police Station is present. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the police will complete the investigation, if three months time is granted. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Accepting the aforesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), the respondent police are directed to complete the investigation in Cr. No.2519 of 2015 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a closure report or charge sheet, as the case may be, under due acknowledgment, to the de facto complainant.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
