O R D E R

(Order of the court was made by N.KIRUBAKARAN.J.,) The petitioner who is the father of the detenue has filed this petition stating that his daughter is missing from 06.09.2020 and complaint has been given to the respondent and based on his complaint, case has been registered in Crime Number 372 of 2020. Since, no serious steps have been taken, the present petition has been filed.

2.When the matter is taken up today, the petitioner along with his wife and the detenue appeared before this Court through Video Conference. The detenue submitted that she completed XII Standard and she is 18 years old and she married one Subramani with whom she was in love. She further submitted that since the petitioner made arrangements to get her married to some third party contrary to her wishes, she eloped with one Subramani and got married to him on 07.09.2020 at Thailapuram Murugan Temple, Harur Taluk. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The said Subramani, who appeared before this Court through video conference assures that he would register the marriage under Registration Act and also submitted that their marriage was accepted by his parents and now, they are living in his parent's house. Even though the petitioner and his wife submitted that they would get her daughter married to one Subramani after two years, it is evident that the detenue already got married to him and she is not in illegal custody. 4.Recording the above facts, this Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of.
