ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who was arrested on 03.07.2021 for the alleged offence under Sections 4(1)(1) and 4(1-A) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act in Cr.No.212 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was in illegal possession of 205 bottles of Brandy worth about Rs.1.5 lakhs. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate submitted that there are eight previous cases pending against the petitioner. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and there are eight previous cases pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
