ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent/Tahsildar to issue patta in the name of the petitioner.
2. According to the petitioner, he is in possession and enjoyment of 5 cents of pooramboke land in at Kamarajar Street, near Government High School, Athur Main Road, V. Kalathur Village, Veppanthattai Taluk, Perambalur District and he is residing there for more than 50 years and electricity service connection is also granted in his name. made a representation before the 3rd respondent on 25.11.2019 seeking for patta and thereafter, he has also made a reminder on 12.07.2021 . But, the same has not been considered, so far. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, and also the fact that now, the petitioner's representation is pending with the 3rd respondent/Tahsildar, without going into the merits of the case, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass suitable orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving opportunity to the petitioner as well as other interested parties, if any, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
