This petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the 1st respondent police to file the final report in F.I.R.No.408 of 2010 and dispose the case.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

3. It is seen that F.I.R. in Cr.No.408 of 2010 has been registered on 10.12.2010 for offences under Sections 294(b), 341, 324, 323 and 307 IPC and till date, the first respondent police has not filed the final report before the jurisdictional Court.

4. On summons, Mr.P.A.Appasamy, Inspector of Police, J3, Veppankuppam Police Station, Vellore District is present.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced the draft charge sheet and submitted that the final report would be filed, if some time is given.

6. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, one month time is given to the respondent police to file the final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate.

In view of the above, this criminal original petition is closed.
