O R D E R
Petitioner seeks a direction to learned Judge, Family Court, Salem, to dispose of F.C.O.P.No.87 of 2013 within a stipulated time.
2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner.
3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that proceedings unduly are protracted since the respondent/wife is employed at Qatar and visits the country only once in a year. Petitioner/husband is unemployed, suffers illhealth disorder and faces grave difficulty owing to the long pendency of the action.
4. A perusal of the 'B' diary extract reveals that the respondent/wife is absent on most of the hearing dates. In the circumstances, this Court would direct the learned Judge, Family Court, Salem, to dispose of F.C.O.P.No.87 of 2013 as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order. The Court below may permit the respondent/wife to appear through her duly authorisrffed and specially constituted power agent.
The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
