O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondent police to register a case on the complaint dated 06.11.2015 made by the petitioner and to take criminal proceedings.

2. In the petition it is stated that the accused namely, M.Raja and his wife encroached the petitioner's property and when the petitioner attempted to prevent the same, the accused persons have threatened the petitioner with dire consequences. In this connection, the petitioner lodged complaint on 24.10.2015. Enraged over the same, on 06.11.2015, the accused persons forcibly entered into the petitioner's property and assaulted the petitioner. The petitioner and her family sustained multiple injuries immediately, after first aid, the Doctors referred them to Government hospital on 07.11.2015 and they were discharged only on 13.11.2015. Since no action was taken on the said complaint, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4.Considering the submissions made on either side, since C.S.R. number has already been assigned, it is appropriate to direct the respondent to conduct an enquiry on C.S.R.No.780/2015 and if there are materials indicating commission of offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

5. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
