O R D E R

Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the fourth respondent to consider his patta applications dated 28.10.2016 and 10.03.2017 and consequently issue patta in favour of the petitioner within a time frame.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's applications dated 28.10.2016 and 10.03.2017, the fourth respondent has not issued the patta to the petitioner.

4.Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the fourth respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's applications and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.

5.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's applications dated 28.10.2016 and 10.03.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
