JUDGMENT
(Judgment of the Court was delivered by R.Suresh Kumar J.) Mr.D.Vijay Babu, learned counsel for the appellant submits that though this appeal has been directed against the order passed by the writ Court dated 21.02.2025 in W.P.No.31495 of 2024, whereby the writ petition was dismissed confirming the punishment awarded against the punishment by the disciplinary authority as confirmed by the appellate authority, subsequently the appellant had approached the respondents by way of mercy petition, and having considered the same, the Director General of Police ie., the first respondent herein, vide his order dated 30.06.2025 has set aside the punishment.
2. In view of the said order having been passed by the first respondent by order dated 30.06.2025, no further adjudication is required in this writ appeal. Hence, the
