Located at Morai Village, Avadi, Taluk, Thiruvallur District without prior intimation, within a reasonable time fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent not to grant any service connection to anyone on the ground that the subject property belongs to the petitioner.

2.Mr.P.R.Dhilip Kumar, learned standing counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent, based on instructions submitted that the service connection has already been effected in favour of one Mr.Paramasivam.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has already given objection and the respondent cannot give electricity connection in favour of anyone without https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

considering the objections. The learned counsel further submitted that even if the electricity connection has been given in favour of Mr.Paramasivam, the objections given by the petitioner has to be taken into account and the service connection must be withdrawn.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the representation given by the petitioner on 12.08.2020 is kept pending by the respondent without taking any decision, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the objections given by the petitioner on 12.08.2020, after giving notice to Mr.Paramasivam, in whose name the service connection is said to have been effected and pass appropriate orders strictly in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the respondent along with a copy of this order. 5.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
