O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to act upon the order passed by the 2nd respondent on 24.11.2016 and to take action in accordance with Sections 82 and 83 of the Registration Act within the time limit fixed by this Court.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he entered into a Joint Venture Agreement with a builder and he had also executed a Power of Attorney in favour of the builder. The grievance of the petitioner is that the builder had acted beyond the agreement and has illegally sold the flats to many third parties beyond the power given to him. representation/complaint to the respondents and the 2nd respondent passed an order on 24.11.2016 for initiating further action against the concerned builder under Sections 82 and 83 of the Registration Act. The petitioner also made subsequent representations in this regard. There was no response and hence, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

3.Heard Mr.V.Chandrakanthan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.T.M.Pappaiah, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the representation given by the petitioner on 02.03.2020 and initiate appropriate action strictly in accordance with the orders passed by the 2nd respondent, if no appeal has been filed against that order, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent along with copy of all relevant documents and also a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
