Respondents The writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to conduct a detailed enquiry againsts the respondents 6 to 14 and take necessary action against them and further direct the first respondent to give food and shelter to the petitioners and their family members pursuant to the representation, dated 15.10.2014. ORDER

Heard the learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the petitioners, as well as the learned counsels, appearing on behalf of the respondents.

2. This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to conduct a detailed enquiry, against the respondents 6 to 14, and to take necessary action against them and for certain other directions.

3. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel, appearing for the petitioners had placed before this Court, a copy of the order, dated 24.4.2015, passed by the learned Judge of this Court, in Crl.O.P.No.33433 of 2014, wherein, a direction was given to the Inspector of Police, S-12, Chitlapakkam Police Station, Chennai, who is the fifth respondent herein, to expedite the investigation, in Cr.No.1033 of 2014, and to take further action, in accordance with law, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

In such circumstances, this Court is of the considered view that no further orders are necessary, in the present writ petition. Hence, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected M.P. is closed.
