Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 herein to issue patta in the petitioner name in respect of Plot Nos.41 and 42 comprised in S.Nos.8/1, 8/2 and 8/3 in Pallikaranai Village, Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District pursuant to the petitioner's application dated 06.05.2015 (vide Appli.No.65, Serial No.1232) by considering and passing appropriate orders within the time.

Mr.P.Senthilvel, learned Government advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to consider her application dated 06.05.2015, wherein and whereby she sought for issuance of Patta in her name in respect of Plot Nos.41 and 42 comprised in S.Nos.8/1, 8/2 and 8/3 in Pallikaranai Village, Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District.
4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court, is that the said request has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the second respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 06.05.2015 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, if the application is not disposed of so far, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
