ORDER

This petition is filed for a direction to the respondent police to register the complaint dated 17.11.2015 made by the petitioner and proceed in accordance with law. 2.The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one Senthilnathan and Sujatha alleging that they have threatened the petitioner with dire consequences. Though the respondent police has received the complaint and assigned CSR No.221 of 2015, till date no action has been taken. Hence, this petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that complaint in CSR No.221 of 2015 is pending for enquiry. 4.I heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 5.In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 17.11.2015 and upon enquiry, if https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible. If no prima facie case is made out the respondent is at liberty to pass appropriate order on the said complaint.

6.With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
