Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records in the impugned order in Letter.No.225/CA1/AU/CR-Scrutiny failed/2018-2019 dated 11.05.2018 and the consequential impugned provisional affiliation order in Lr.No.02/Affln/CAI/CBE/AU/20182019/6232 dated 15.05.2018 passed by the first respondent quash the same in so far not granting affiliation for sanctioned intake of 60 for each course of MBA and MCA and direct the first respondent University to accept the qualification of the petitioner college Prinicpal/Director Dr.R.Srinivasan, Ph.D. As eligible to be principal of the petitioner college and grant provisional affiliation for 60 sanctioned intake for each course of MBA and MCA for the academic year 2018-2019.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to quash the impugned order in Letter.No.225/CA1/AU/CR-Scrutiny failed/2018-2019 dated 11.05.2018 and the consequential impugned provisional affiliation order in Lr.No.02/Affln/CAI/CBE/AU/2018-2019/6232 dated 15.05.2018 passed by the first respondent in so far not granting affiliation for sanctioned intake of 60 for each course of MBA and MCA and direct the first respondent
University to accept the qualification of the petitioner college Principal/Director Dr.R.Srinivasan, Ph.D. As eligible to be principal of the petitioner college and grant provisional affiliation for 60 sanctioned intake for each course of MBA and MCA for the academic year 2018-2019.
2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of this petition, the said Principal Dr.R.Srinivasan, Ph.D., passed away and therefore, prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous and nothing survives for adjudication.
3. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
