ORDER
This petition has been filed to relax the condition in para No.8(b) imposed on the petitioner herein in Crl.O.P.No.1201 of 2025, dated 03.02.2025, that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police, everyday at 10:30 a.m., until further orders. 1/4
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner has been arrayed as accused in Crime Nos.536 of 2024 and 43 of 2025. He also produced the copy of the communication of the Commissioner of Police, Greater Chennai Police, Vepery, Chennai, wherein it is seen that on 07.03.2025, the case files in Crime Nos.536 of 2024 and 43 of 2025 have been now transferred to the CCB, Chennai.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that till date no communication has been received either from the respondent police or CCB, Chennai regarding the transfer of the cases registered against the petitioner.
4. Considering the submissions of both sides and also the fact that the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) could not able to give any clarity with regard to which team of CCB, Chennai, the cases have now been transferred and investigated, this Court is of the view that the condition in para No.8(b) imposed on the petitioner herein in Crl.O.P.No.1201 of 2025, dated 2/4
03.02.2025 is relaxed.
5. However, it is open to the concerned Investigation Officer, CCB, Chennai to issue notice and call upon the petitioner herein for the purpose of interrogation in the aforesaid cases. Accordingly, this criminal miscellaneous petition is ordered.
