O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner on 17.12.2019 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he is the absolute owner of the subject properties and that by mistake, survey No.153/2B6 was wrongly included as 'Vandi Battai' in the revenue records. The petitioner therefore made a representation before the 3rd respondent on 17.12.2019 seeking for necessary changes in the Revenue Records, since according to the petitioner, the Survey No.153/2B6 is a patta land. The 3rd respondent on receipt of the representation, has made a communication to the 1st respondent on 27.12.2019 to conduct an enquiry and pass necessary orders. Since there was no progress in the enquiry, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

3. Heard Mr. K.Mohanamurali, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Manigopi, learned Govt. Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 17.12.2019 strictly in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the 1st respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

5.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
