ORDER

This petition is filed for a direction to the respondent police to register the complaint dated 02.10.2015 and take appropriate action against the said persons in accordance with law.

2.The petitioner herein lodged a complaint on 02.10.2015 as against one Suresh Reddiyar and his wife Rajeswari on the allegation that during the Grama Sabai Meeting wherein the Overseer Officer from BDO office participated, the petitioner enquired about the work order issued for digging of well for drinking water in the village and the Overseer Officer replied that there was no such allotment of well for the village and responding to the petitioner's question and Overseer Officer's reply, one Suresh Reddiyar and his wife Rajeswari for the reasons known to them have started scolding the petitioner in filthy language in front of Overseer Officer from BDO office and others. and assigned CSR No.327 of 2015, till date no action has been taken. Hence, this petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint in CSR No.327 of 2015 is pending for enquiry. 4.I heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 5.In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 02.10.2015 and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible. If no prima facie case is made out the respondent is at liberty to pass appropriate order on the said complaint.

6.With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
