ORDER

The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 137 and 140 (2) of BNS Act, in Crime No.Not known of 2025, seek anticipatory bail. Page No.1 of 4

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners and defactocomplainant are neighbours. Petitioners son namely Ajith Kumar and defacto-complainant's daughter are both missing. Hence the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent and they had been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the custodial interrogation of the petitioners is not required and sought for anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police, while opposing the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners, reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the victim's parents had filed H.C.P.No.698 of 2025 which is posted on 09.06.2025. As on date, there is no case registered against the petitioners. The respondent Police are making efforts to trace the defacto-complainant's daughter and for that reason, petitioners were called for enquiry. Page No.2 of 4

5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the respondent Police and perused the materials available on record.

6.Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), nothing survives for consideration in this petition.
