Respondent Prayer: The Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to modify the condition with respect to "the petitioners shall deposit 20% of the cheque amount awarded by the trial Court within three weeks from the date of this order" imposed by the Principal Sessions Judge, Tiruppur, in Crl.M.P.No.1 of 2024 in Crl.A.No.140 of 2024 vide order dated 24.04.2024. -1-

ORDER

The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed to modify the condition with respect to "the petitioners shall deposit 20% of the cheque amount awarded by the trial Court within three weeks from the date of this order" imposed by the Principal Sessions Judge, Tiruppur, in Crl.M.P.No.1 of 2024 in Crl.A.No.140 of 2024 vide order dated 24.04.2024.

2. On 09.05.2024, this Court, while considering the petition to modify the condition imposed for granting suspension of sentence, as an interim measure, directed the petitioner to deposit 10% of the compensation amount before the trial Court on or before 30.05.2024. -2-

3. The petitioner herein has deposited 10% of the amount i.e. Rs.1,95,816/- before the Judicial Magistrate, Fast Tract Court, Magisterial Level, Tiruppur, on 21.05.2024. A copy of the receipt No.0263073 has been furnished to report compliance.

4. In view of the above fact, this Court is of the view that the condition to deposit 20% of the compensation amount stands modified to deposit 10% of the compensation amount and the amount already deposited shall be taken into account as the compliance of the condition. With the above terms, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
