ORDER

This petition is filed praying for a direction to the respondent to file a final report in crime no.131 of 2009 within a time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

2.The petitioner is the accused in the complaint lodged by one Mohan for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 420, 468 of IPC. Though the said complaint was registered in Crime No.131 of 2009 as early as on 26.04.2009, the final report has not yet been filed and because of the pendency of the FIR, the petitioner is facing severe problems. Hence, this petition. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the respondent police has not chosen to give any instructions. 4.I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court is constrained to pass the following order:

The respondent police is directed to expedite the investigation, complete the same and file final report as early as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
