ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to survey and demarcate the property, which according to the petitioners are owned by them, based on their online application dated 08.12.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioners had submitted an online application on 08.12.2025 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioners has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. Mr. V. Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) accepts notice on behalf of the third respondent.
4. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' representation.
5. No prejudice will be caused to the second respondent if the said authority is directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioners' property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections if any from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party whom the second respondent deems it fit. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:- (a) Before surveying the lands in question, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners and also to any other party, whom the second respondent deems it fit to enquire.
(b) After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the second respondent shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. (c) If the need arises for police assistance and on a request made by the second respondent, the third respondent shall render police assistance for the effective implementation
of this order.
No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is ordered subject to payment of separate Court fee.
