For Petitioner(s):

Mr.Joseph Thatheus Jerome For Respondent(s):

Mr.Auxilia Peter COMMON ORDER These Civil Revision Petitions have been filed challenging the docket orders dated 01.04.2026 passed by the XI Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, in I.A.(SR).Nos.22635 & 22634 of 2026 in O.S. No.5947 of 2014 respectively.

2.Admittedly, the petitions filed by the petitioner in the aforesaid I.A.s have been returned by the XI Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai. However, the petitioner claims that the Interlocutory Applications are maintainable and ought to have been numbered and decided on merits. 3.Instead of going before the very same Court which has passed the impugned docket orders and convincing the Court with regard to the maintainability of I.A.s, the petitioner has directly approached this Court by filing these Revision Petitions. Therefore, this Court directs Interlocutory Applications, namely I.A.(SR).Nos.22635 & 22634 of 2026 in O.S. No.5947 of 2014 to be listed before the XI Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, under the caption, for maintainability on 15.06.2026.

4.Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to argue the Interlocutory Applications and convince the Trial Court with regard to maintainability. However, it is made clear that the learned counsel for the petitioner shall not take any adjournment on any ground. If adjournment is sought for, I.A.s will stand automatically dismissed. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the I.A.s.

5.The Trial Court is directed to number the I.As if they are found to be maintainable. In the event the Trial Court finds that the I.A.s are not maintainable, the Trial Court is directed to pass a speaking order, after giving due consideration to the contentions of the petitioner with regard to the question of maintainability.

6.With the aforesaid directions, these Civil Revision Petitions are disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
