Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to refer the case of petitioner in respect of land in S.No.141/2 of Mornapalli Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District to the Subordinate Court, Hosur under Section 8 of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purpose act, 1997, based on the petition dated 31.05.2007. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners' land in Survey No.141/2 of Mornapalli Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District was acquired under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purpose Act, 1997. An award No.4/2007 dated 29.03.2007 was passed by the respondent, thereinafter, the petitioners have moved the authority to refer the matter under Section 8 of the said Act, which would enable the petitioners to seek enhancement of the compensation award.

2. Mr. Akhil Akbar Ali, the learned Government Advocate entered appearance for the respondent and has filed the counter affidavit, wherein, it is indicated that reference has already https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

been made and the matter is now pending in L.A.O.P.No.12/2009 on the file of Sub Court, Hosur and that the petitioners could move the said Court with necessary submissions.
