Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate legal action to restore Government premises from illegal encroachment and properly maintain the same by restoring the purposes of providing health and medical support to the people of the Santhome and Mylapore area through its scheme of Primary Health Centre and Hospitals at its property located at Old No.3, Syed Wahab Hussain street, Santhome, Mylapore, Chennai-600 004 for which it was established.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Learned counsel for the Corporation/second respondent states that the Primary Health Centre has, in fact, been closed on account of there being Urban Health Centre in proximity to that place and the Primary Health Centre is now sought to be converted into E-Seva Centre.

2. The aforesaid statement is taken on record and in view thereof, the grievance of the petitioner does not survive, which was against the conducting of religious ceremonies on Sundays in the Centre.
